Dagbon Traditional Council
The Dagbon Traditional Council is the governing body of the Dagbon Kingdom, one of the oldest and most prominent traditional states in Northern Ghana. Headed by the Ya-Na (Overlord of Dagbon) who sits in Yendi, the council oversees customary governance, chieftaincy matters, and cultural preservation across Dagbon. The kingdom encompasses numerous divisional and sub-chiefs throughout the Northern Region.
