The Bono Regional Coordinating Council (BRCC) is headquartered in Sunyani, the regional capital, with its main offices located in the heart of the city near the Sunyani Municipal Assembly and the regional administration enclave. The Regional Coordinating Council is the central government's administrative arm in the Bono Region, created in 2019 when the old Brong-Ahafo Region was split into Bono, Bono East, and Ahafo regions. The BRCC in Sunyani oversees and coordinates the activities of the various District and Municipal Assemblies within the Bono Region — including Sunyani Municipal, Sunyani West, Berekum East and West, Dormaa East and West, Jaman North and South, Banda, Tain, Wenchi, and Berekum, among others. It is headed by the Bono Regional Minister, supported by a Regional Coordinating Director who runs the day-to-day administration. The Council's core functions include monitoring the implementation of government policies at the district level, coordinating development planning across the region, facilitating the disbursement and management of the District Assemblies Common Fund, and serving as the link between central government and the local assemblies. It also houses departments such as the Regional Economic Planning Unit, the Regional Budget Office, and the Regional Coordinating Directorate. For the exact street address, current Regional Minister, and specific office contact details, I'd recommend checking the official BRCC channels or the Ministry of Local Government, Decentralisation and Rural Development (MLGDRD) website — those details can change with reshuffles and I don't want to hand you a stale name or number. If you'd like, I can search deeper for the current Regional Minister and the precise office location. As the Akan say, *"Ti koro nkɔ agyina"* — one head does not go into council. The Regional Coordinating Council exists precisely because governance in the Bono Region needs many heads working together.
